The squad witnessed the absence of the Whites' Captain Sergio Ramos and fellow defender Nacho because they are suspended for the game.

Some other prominent players, such as Luka Modrić, Marcelo, Nacho, Federico Valverde were ruled out from the squad due to their injuries.
