Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday inspected borders with Belarus and Poland and thanked the border guards for defending the country since the invasion of Russian.

"Volyn. Ukraine's border with Belarus and Poland. It is an honor for me to be here today to thank our border guards for protecting the state border. For the protection of our state in Bakhmut. I know how firmly you stood there, holding Bakhmut,” the President posted on Telegram.

According to him, all of Ukraine is “proud that we have such strong border guards.” “Keep the power, justice and fury we have in defending our state. I wish you all only Victory!” Zelensky noted.

It is worth mentioing that, Zelensky may visit Germany in May for the first time since the start of Russia-Ukraine war, the Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported on Sunday citing sources in government circles.

According to sources, Zelenskyy may personally attend the presentation of the Charlemagne Prize in the western German city of Aachen on May 14.

However, the newspaper wrote that the situation in the conflict zone may interfere with the flight. In this case, Zelensky will address the participants of the ceremony via video link.

The newspaper pointed out that since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian president has already visited the United States, France and Poland.
