Zelensky Says Ready for Talks with Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that he is ready to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Russia Today.

The Ukrainian president added that Ukraine will never recognize Crimea as part of Russia, explaining that Crimea has always enjoyed autonomy and has its parliament, but all of that is within Ukraine.

Noteworthy, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced that the number of refugees has exceeded 6 million since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine on February 24.

UNHCR indicated that more than 900,000 refugees went to Moldova, Slovakia and Belarus.

According to the data published on the UNHCR portal, from February 24 to May 11, 6 million and 29 thousand people left the territory of Ukraine, including 3.2 million refugees who went to Poland, more than 895,000 to Romania, more than 785,000 to Russia, and more than 583.000 to Hungary.
