Dr. Vadim Zaychikov, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, and Sherif Gad, president of the Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities and secretary-general of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association, visited on Monday the headquarters of the Russian tourism company TEZ Tour branch in Egypt.
They were received by Ehab Wahdan, Co-Founder and CEO of TEZ Tourism Egypt; Dr. Hani Osama, Co-Founder and Executive CFO; Dr. Fatima Sakr, Head of Business Development and Transformation, and Tamer Saeed, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The company's management reviewed the various areas of its activity since its establishment in 1994 and its entry into the Egyptian market in 1999, including its activity in the field of recreational tourism and religious tourism, and the successes achieved during the past years, which saw the Russian tourism to Egypt reaching 3.5 million tourists per year, with the company acquiring one million of them, achieving the highest percentage in bringing Russian tourism to Egypt using the latest technology, extensive capabilities, and a large fleet of cars.
The company is currently seeking to enhance tourism cooperation and return to previous rates.
For his part, Zaychikov noted that Russia is keen to strengthen and develop cooperation with Egypt in the field of tourism, given Egypt's enormous potential, including hotels, beaches, warm waters, and its extensive tourism expertise.
Some bids related to cooperation were also discussed, with the TEZ management also proposing providing job opportunities for Russian language students at the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo after completing their studies.
