Zamalek's Abdel Salam Recovers from COVID-19

Zamalek's defender Mohamed Abdel Salam announced Saturday that he tested negative for COVID-19 after he had contracted the virus earlier.

The Zamalek SC player announced through his official Instagram account, Saturday, "Praise be to God, my swab is negative."

A number of the White club players have contracted the Corona virus, on top of which are Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Alaa and Abdullah Gomaa.

Tarek Hamed and Abdullah Gomaa have recovered from the virus and enrolled in the White Knights' training sessions, while Mahmoud Alaa has not fully recovered yet.

Zamalek are preparing to face Enppi on Saturday in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.

The White club occupies fourth place having 7 points, and if they win tonight's game, they will equal the second-placed Al Ahly, who tied 0-0 in their clash against Wadi Degla on Friday.
