Zamalek to Play against Smouha in Egyptian League 

Zamalek will kick off their defending campaign of their Egyptian League crown by welcoming Smouha in matchweek one. 

The game will kick off at 19:00 CLT. 

The White Knights managed to claim the Egyptian League title in the last season for the second time in a row. 

Zamalek also qualified for the last 16 of the CAF Champions League after defeating Flampo 6-1 on aggregate. 

They also kicked off their adventure in the Champions League after defeating Elect sport 5-0 on aggregate. 

On the other hand, Smouha finished fifth during the last season and they appointed Tarek El Ashry as new head coach.
