Zamalek SC announced Thursday signing the Danish-Egyptian forward Amir Adel who is also known as Alexander Jakobson in a 4-year free transfer deal.

The 26 years old winger has played for the Norwegian club Sarpsborg, before the player officially left after the end of his contract last season.

Al Ahram English website stated that the player was released from Sarpsborg last October, staying without a club until the Whites decided to include him ahead of the new season.

According to Zamalek's official website, Amir Adel signed a four year contract as part of the Football Committee's endeavor to support the team for the new season.

Adel, who was named The Danish Ronaldinho, for his skills, played for many European clubs in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

Adel scored 20 goals in his entire career after playing 168 games.

The Danish Ronaldinho played for the Egyptian national team in a friendly against Togo in 2017.

It is worth noting that the White Knights will start the new season in the Egyptian Premier League with a clash against the Arab Contractors team in the season (2020-2021).
