Zamalek Loses 0-2 to CRB, Knocked out of CAF Champions League

The Egyptian Al Zamalek lost to Algerian Chabab Riadhi de Belouizdad (CRB) 0-2 moments ago at Stade 5 Juillet 1962, Hadjout, Algeria. The game was one of the CAF Champions League group stage.

After their loss, Al Zamalek were officially knocked out of the tournament.

On the other hand, the Algerian team, and Espérance Sportive de Tunis qualified for the quarter-final of the CAF Champions League. 

 ES Tunis are in first place with 10 points, followed by CRB with 9 points. The Sudanese Al Marikh are in third place with 5 points, and finally, the Cairo-based team are at the bottom of the group with 4 points.

The first half of the game ended with a goalless draw, after both teams missed dangerous opportunities. 

In 57, Al Zamalek coach Ferreira made a number of substitutions: Youssef Osama Nabih, Mohamed Tarek, and Naser Mansy. They replaced Mostafa Shalaby, Seifeddine Jaziri, and Sayed Abdullah "Neymar."

In 75, Zakaria Draoui scored the first goal for the Algerian team. After, 3 minutes, they scored the second goal by Leonel Wamba Djouffo in 78.

Before the end of the match with two 10 minutes, Ferreira made a final substitution as he replaced Mohamed Abdel Ghany with Ibrahima Ndiaye.
