The professional football club based in Giza and the former member of the Egyptian football federation took to their verified Twitter handles to send out the birthday wishes.
Younis tweeted “most underrated Egyptian and respected Zamalek’s legend, happy birthday Emam.”

The renowned footballer was born on April 16, 1975, in Giza governorate, Egypt. The talented player is the son of the Zamalek legend, Hamada Emam.
The iconic African player was Egypt's best player in the African tournament of Burkina Faso, and one of the best youngsters to shine.
In the 1990s, his extraordinary performance interested Italian Parma, and Ajax Amsterdam.
