After confirming the first Coronavirus case in Tunisia, Zamalek and Espérance Sportive de Tunis encounter in the CAF Champions League could be threatened by the coronavirus.

Earlier, the Tunisian Health Ministry reported the first coronavirus case.

The CAF Champions League holders are set to host the White Knights in the second leg of the quarter-final on Friday, March 6.

The game could be played in an empty stadium if the government decides to ban fans from entering the matches.

If the Tunisian authorities decided to suspend the sports activity in the Arab country, ES Tunis would have no options except playing the game in a neutral land.

It is worth mentioning that 50,000 fans are allowed to attend the encounter.

The White Knights managed to secure a 3-1 victory in the first leg at Cairo Stadium in the presence of 30,000 fans.
