Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour said on Monday that the club's board of directors decided not to renew for goalkeeper Mohamed Abo Gabel, and midfielder Tarek Hamed, whose contracts expire by the end of the season.
In statements to "Al Shams" channels, Mansour said that the White Knights managed to sign nine new players in all positions, confirming that it is hard to announce the players, who will leave the team during the ongoing period.
"We have turned down the page of Abo Gabe and Tarek Hamed as we will not renew their contracts," he added.
It is worth mentioning that Zamalek will clash against Al Ahly in Egypt Cup final, taking place on Thursday, July 21st.
