Youssef El Sherif Begins Filming TV Series “Covid-25”

Egyptian actor, Youssef El Sherif began Tuesday filming his new TV series "Covid-25".

The actor shared the news on Instagram along with a photo from the behind-the-scenes of the series and captioned: "First day of filming TV series 'Covid-25' 🖤🎬".

The series is written by El Sherif’s wife, author and screenwriter Engy Alaa, directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, and produced by Synergy production company.

The actor filmed the first scenes with his co-stars Enas Kamel, and Islam Gamal.

“Covid-25” consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.

The series marks the fourth cooperation between El Sherif and Synergy after “Kafr Delhab”, “Caesar”, and “The End”.

The actor participated last Ramadan with TV series “The End“, which faced many rumors, including an accusation of plagiarism.

It also stars Ayten Amer, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Amir Salaheldeen, Safaa El-Toukhi, Diana Hisham, Myrna Noureldin, Randa El Behery, and others.
