Yousra Shares New Photos from Oscars

Prominent Egyptian actress Yousra took to Instagram to share new photos of herself from her participation at the Oscars.

"I had the pleasure of attending the Oscars red carpet for the first time as a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. @theacademy🌟" she captioned.

Talking about the dress, Yousra said that she was proud to attend the Oscars, as an Egyptian actress, explaining that the dress she was wearing was inspired by the Pharaohs.

"All the people fall in love with the dress, even the foreigners." she added.

Furthermore, she took to Twitter gushing about the people's reaction over the dress.

"I would love to thank the awesome people who complemented my look today. Every little detail mattered. You guys are amazing." she tweeted.

On the other hand, she revealed in a press statement that she spoke with American Hollywood star Robert De Niro, and Laura, as well as other producers, stating that the majority of those present would be at the Jeddah Festival.

It is worth mentioning that the 2020 Oscars took place on Sunday, February 9th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The 92nd Awards ceremony witnessed many inpiduals making history including Bong Joon Ho’s black comedy “Parasite”, which became the first film in a language other than English to claim the movie industry’s highest honor after winning the Oscar for best picture.

“Parasite” beat out Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman,” Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story,” Todd Phillips’ “Joker” — which had led nominations with 11 — Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” Sam Mendes’ “1917,” James Mangold’s “Ford v Ferrari,” Waititi’s “Jojo Rabbit” and Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” for the top prize.

Furthermore, Renée Zellweger was named the best actress at the Oscars for her portrait of Hollywood legend Judy Garland in a biographical drama “Judy,”, which was her second time in her career to receive the award.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix won his first Oscar for his mindblowing performance in the “Joker,” as well as Brad Pitt and Laura Dern had also won their first Oscars.

Dern took home the Oscar for best-supporting actress for her role in “Marriage Story”, while Pitt took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
