Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri is no longer involved in the film "El Salayef".
Sabri was set to star alongside Hannah El Zahed in the film. The project marked the first collaboration between the pair.
"El Salayef" is an adaptation of the 2020 Turkish comedy film "Eltilerin Savasi", which achieved great success at the time of its release.
Per an official logline, the film follows “Known for their devotion to social media, sisters-in-law Sultan and Gizem, who live in the same apartment building and understanding of marriage is different, go in a battle of egos erupts online as they enter into an endless competition with each other."
The cast stars Gupse Özay, Merve Dizdar, Ferit Aktuğ, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, Füsun Demirel, Ali İpin, Hülya Duyar, Kubilay Tunçer, Gamze Demirbilek, and Taylan Erler. Onur Bilgetay directed the film from a script by Gupse Özay.
El Zahed was last seen on the big screen in the comedy film "Fasel Mn Al Lahzat El Laziza" and Sabri in the comedy film “Abu Nasab”.
Sabri, born on January 21, 1987, made her acting career in 2013 when she appeared in the religious program “Khatawat El Shaytan” (The Devil’s Steps) with the young preacher Moez Masoud.
In 2014, she landed her first major role in a drama in the TV series “Gabel El Helal” (El Helal Mountain) co-starring actor Mahmoud Abdelaziz.
Other TV productions include "Hekayti" (2019), "Al Hisan Al Aswad" (2017), "Al-Ostora" (2016), and "Tariqi" (2015).
Sabri is known for her roles in films such as "Lelyt Hana w Sorour" (2018), “El- Dezel” (2018), and “Gahim Fel Hend” (2016).
