Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis will star in a new comedy film shot under the working title of "Arabia Karo".

A source told "Et bil Arabi" that the production is directed by Mahmoud Kamel and also stars Salah Abdullah, Mohamed Tharwat, Donia Maher, Laila Ezz El-Arab, and Arfa Abdel Rassoul.

The source added that the actress has many commitments, noting the date for the shooting has yet to be determined.

On the other hand, Raeis will begin filming her new TV series “60 Minutes” in June, after it was suspended earlier this year.

The series also stars Sawsan Badr, Ahmed El Saadany, and Tharaa Goubail.  It is written by Mohamed Hisham Abey, directed by Maryam Al-Ahmadi, and consists of 9 episodes.

Production is set to start in Lebanon after the rest of the cast is complete.
