Yasmin Abdelaziz Unveils Character's Name in Darb Nar Series

Egyptian actress Yasmin Abdelaziz announced her character’s name in the upcoming TV series for Ramadan 2023 drama marathon "Darb Nar" (Gunfire).

Abdelaziz posted a photo of her on Instagram, which seemed to be from behind the scenes. She captioned the photo; “Mohra from Shubra, Darb Nar series Ramadan 2023, God willing”

The series marks the actress’ third collaboration with husband Ahmed Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and “Lakher Nafas” in 2019.

Darb Nar is helmed by director Mostafa Fekry and screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman. The cast also includes Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, and Badria Tolba.

It will also feature acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy, making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.

Moreover, the 2022 TV series will be Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare.
