Yasmin Abdelaziz to Participate in Ramadan 2024 Drama Marathon

Egyptian acterss Yasmin Abdelaziz is preparing for a new TV series, which she plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.

The series hails Egyptian Arts Group, owned by producers Remon Magar and Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.

Abdelaziz participated last Ramdan with the TV series "Darb Nar" (Gunfire).

The series witnessed the third collaboration between Abdelaziz and her husband Ahmed Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and 2019's “Lakher Nafas”.

"Darb Nar" is helmed by director Mostafa Fekry and screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman. The cast also starred Maged El Masry, Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, Badria Tolba, and more.

It featured acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy, making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.

"Darb Nar" will be Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare. 

Abdelaziz, born on January 16, 1980, is an Egyptian actress and former model. She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, which paved the road to her true calling, acting.

Thereafter, Abdelaziz was nominated for roles in cinematic and television productions. She made her acting debut in the 1998 TV series “Kot We Far”.
