Xiaomi Reveals New Smartphone with High Resolution Cameras

Xiaomi announced this week Mi Note 10 smartphone  in Madrid, alongside the Redmi Note 8T, the new smartphone that is equally impressive in its own right. It feature a 108MP main sensor more high-res than most other smartphones like iPhones, most Samsung devices and Google Pixels, which all use 12MP.

According to Engadget, among the advantages of pictures taken at the phone's superior resolution are the ability to crop into images without compromising quality and the resolution means that one can shoot pictures that are capable of being expanded into 'billboard-level prints up to 4.24 meters high.

In Xiaomi style, there’s also a CC9 Pro Premium Edition variant that will cost 3,499 yuan with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and an upgraded “8P lens system” for the main 108-megapixel camera.

The device will be available in three colours: Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Glacier White, as well as it will also have a 3.4mm headphone jack and run on Xiaomi’s MIUI 11, which is a skin built over Android 9.

The device's CC9 will go on sale in China tomorrow, and has not ruled out the possibility that the phone will have a global release in the near future, The VERGE reported.

''ISOCELL'' sensor

Meanwhile, the ''ISOCELL'' sensor itself measures 1/1.33-inches and 12032 x 9024 pixels resolution. In low-light conditions, it switches to 4-in-1 pixel-binning. Along with this sensor there are four further snappers on the back of the device.

A forthcoming Pro edition will also have a 8-piece lenses on the main camera. The photographic set-up looks to offer great versatility.
