Xi Jinping Celebrates BRI Achievements at 3rd Belt & Road Forum

On Tuesday, President Xi Jinping of China delivered a toast in Beijing. He addressed world leaders, international organization heads, representatives, and other guests at the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. In his heartfelt message, President Xi celebrated the accomplishments of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) over the past decade.

He mentioned how China and BRI partners have worked diligently. Their collaboration embodies the Silk Road spirit. This spirit is marked by peace, cooperation, openness, and mutual benefits. Their joint efforts have elevated global connectivity. They have also fostered platforms for international economic cooperation.

Under their collective effort, they have executed numerous successful projects. These endeavors have promoted a connected world. They’ve set a direction for mutual prosperity. President Xi emphasized that these successes didn't come easy. Governments, businesses, and people of BRI partners achieved them through hard work.

The BRI, in its essence, aims for growth, mutual benefits, and hope. President Xi stressed the significance of persistent efforts for lasting achievements. He expressed his commitment towards future generations.

However, he acknowledged that today's world faces challenges. Despite economic pressures and global development hurdles, he remains optimistic. He believes in the unstoppable trend of peace, development, and mutual cooperation. President Xi remains hopeful about global aspirations for a better life.

Concluding his message, he raised a toast. He wished for the forum's success, health of the guests, and praised BRI contributors.
