Wydad Casablanca head coach Walid Regragui believes Al Ahly have a higher chance of winning the CAF Champions League title.
The Red Devils are on course for a third consecutive CAF Champions League title as they play Wydad Casablanca in the final on Monday, May 30th.
A dominant 6-2 win on aggregate against ES Setif in the semi-finals saw Al Ahly book a spot in the final of the competition for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
The African champions will be eyeing a record 11th title while Wydad will be aiming to collect their first Champions League trophy since 2017.
Speaking about the game, Wydad manager Walid Regragui stressed that Al Ahly are the favorites to grab the title as they are the more experienced side.
“RS Berkane put us under pressure by winning the CAF Confederation Cup. We now have to win the Champions League for a Moroccan Super Cup,” Regragui said.
Al Ahly are putting us under a lot of pressure, look at what they are doing on social media.
