Early Friday, WWE Creative Chief Paul Levesque, a.k.a Triple H, announced that Cody Rhodes will finish his story in the upcoming Wrestle Mania, Wrestle Mania XL in Philadelphia, by facing WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns.
During the Wrestle Mania XL Kick-Off press conference, Reigns attempted to choose The Rock as his WrestleMania opponent, but Rhodes came out and pointed out that this is his decision as the winner of the Royal Rumble 2024.
A minor brawl took place between Rhodes, The Rock, and Reigns, in addition, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was involved in the situation.
The Rock was upset and left the stage, after that he shouted at Triple H to “fix” things and not allow that to happen, using his authoritative power as a member of the TKO Board.
Shortly, Triple H used his powers as the head of the creative office and the main booker of the WWE and announced that Rhodes will face Reigns at Wrestle Mania XL's main event.
