WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i, the brother of WWE Hall of Famer Sika, and the uncle of WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, passed away at 81 years old, the family announced on Friday.
The news was announced by his son Samu Anoa’i social media.
He posted: "It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of my father Afa Anoai Sr. It was a peaceful transition and he was surrounded by loved ones. Please respect our privacy as we morn our father."
Afa was one half of the legendary tag team The Wild Samoans, and they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the 2007/
Afa’s brother Sika passed away in June.
The Hall of Famer suffered from several health issues. He was hospitalised last January after contracting pneumonia and suffering 2 heart attacks.
Afa also underwent heart surgery in May.
