Tonight, WWE will organize its final PPV before WrestleMania 39, Elimination Chamber. It will be the first premium live event in Montreal, Canada in 14 years.
The event will be hosted at Bell Centre in "The City of Saints" on Saturday, February 18.
Five contests were announced for the event, including the two annual Elimination Chamber matches for men and women.
However, this year's Men's Elimination Chamber edition will be dedicated to the US title for the first time in history. Elimination Chamber matches were meant to be world-title defence.
The US champion Austin Theory will defend his title against Seth Freakin' Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, and Montez Ford inside the chamber.
On the other hand, the Women's Elimination Chamber will be for naming a challenger for the Raw Women's Champion at WrestleMania for the second successive time.
Asuka, Liv Morgan, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya, and Carmella will fight each other for the title shot against the champion Bianca Blair.
The event will be headlined by the box-office Roman Reigns who will defend his title against Sami Zayn.
The match between Zayn and Reigns came after the latest series of events that hit The Bloodline in Royal Rumble.
Zayn, who was known as Sami Uso since joining The Bloodline, rejected the orders of the Tribal Chief, Reigns, of hitting his best friend Kevin Owens with the steel chair, instead, he hit Reigns with it.
Therefore, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa hit Zayn hard, however, Jay Uso refused to take part in the assault and left the ring.
Two weeks ago, Reigns blamed Zayn, and both escalated. Zayn challenged Reigns, and Reigns attacked Zayn and held his titles high.
A few days ago, WWE released a video package that linked the shocking events of Montreal Screwjob, the return of the WWE to Montreal once again for a PPV for the first time in 14 years, the rise of Zayn, and being the top babyface in the WWE, right now, alongside Cody Rhodes.
The events of the Elimination Chamber will take place at the same hall where Zayn made his WWE debut. He received historical and breathtaking cheers from the fans in Canada, which made everyone describe the match as the fight of Zayn and the City of Montreal or the Battle of Montreal.
