On Friday, WWE confirmed the induction of iconic Lex Luger for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
Luger was surprised with the news in a meeting with his friends Dallas Page and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Luger was one of the most prominent stars in WWE and WCW, including being one-half of the 1994 Royal Rumble winners and a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Luger won the WCW World Title after defeating Hollywood Hogan in the biggest defeat for Hogan after establishing the New World Order.
In more recent years, Luger has struggled with his health.
He suffered from a spinal stroke in 2007 which left him partially paralyzed.
