The fourth edition of World Youth Forum (WYF) is kicking off tomorrow .. This forum is the outcome of an idea put forward by the youth of Egypt during the National Youth Conference in July 2017, in Alexandria, and immediately President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi gave the green light to implement it.

The President’s support and enthusiasm is the factor behind the success of the genius idea.

The Forum witnesses a global democratic dialogue entitled:

You ask and the the president answers:

The president always answers with utmost honesty and clarity regarding everything that concerns the youth of Egypt, the youth of the Arab world and the youth of the whole world in various fields.

He talked with them about eliminating slums and providing a decent life for all Egyptians and other important issues.

We could never forget the young man Alaa Mustafa who, in 2017, talked about Kima factory in Aswan and the disposal of its pollutants in an unsafe manner, the president took the young man on a visit to the place and began developing the factory and the area, which completely changed after the visit.

I consider this year as a victory, as the forum was held despite the Coronavirus pandemic, which hindered its convening for two years, but it is resumed amid precautionary measures and unprecedented techniques.

A sophisticated robot that sterilizes the halls, another robot that measures temperatures, and a third that distributes food and drinks.

As for the doors of halls, sessions, and transportation, they are self-sterilizing, to prevent any infection.

Tomorrow, thousands of young people from all over the world, with all their differences and cultures, gather in one place, they communicate and talk; they will exchange opinions and ideas, and they form friendships that bring together different nationalities.

The most important thing is their meeting with decision-makers, They talk to them directly and put forward their ideas and opinions. They ask questions without conditions or restrictions or limits and hear the clear and transparent  answers.

The forum presents experiences and interactions between different backgrounds and cultures, helping young people to change their way of thinking.

In its new edition, it focuses on full support for Arab and African youth, as well as cooperation between Arab and the Euro-Mediterranean youth , and establishing regional centers for youth support, and regional centers to support studies that support women's issues in general.

Over the past three years, the forum has received 150,000 young people from 160 countries from all over the world, and has achieved great successes.

The United Nations considered the forum as an inspiring idea to empower the world's youth in all countries.

The forum is an occasion in which I enjoy listening to the ideas, and discussions, and the enthusiasm of the youth.

They discuss the Coronavirus pandemic, and  its impact on the regional and international levels, the global energy crisis in addition to the issues of climate change, peace, creativity and development, to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the whole world.
