Uruguay and South Korea's game settled with a goalless draw as part of FIFA World Cup-Qatar 2022.

The game was among the competitions of the first round of Group H.

The Latin American team hit the post twice but couldn't pass the defense of the Asian team.

Diego Godin tried to score his header in the first half before Federico Valverde's effort clashed with the crossbar.

South Korea also couldn't find a road to scoring. The Asian team started the game with plenty of pressing before Uruguay started to take over the game after the break.

Hwang Ui-jo made the most possible opportunity for Korea but the ball went over the bar.

Darwin Nunez had a couple of useless cracks in front of the goal.

In the second half, South Korea heavily relied on the counters but failed to make any progress toward the goal.
