The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the World Bank (WB) decided to resume the program to support the poor in Sudan.

The ministry stated, in a statement, that the Sudanese embassy in the American capital, Washington, confirmed that the Sudanese Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, has been notified of the World Bank's resumption of programs to support the poor, through projects that focus directly on supporting the poor in Sudan.

The program include "Thammarat" which includes vaccination against "COVID-19", through implementation and monitoring by a third party, such as the United Nations World Food Program.
