Tuesday brought major upsets and surprises to the 2024 Wimbledon men's contexts, but still, it doesn't look like the major turns in the women's brackets.
The major upset in the men's contests was the elimination of the world's no.1 Jannik Sinner. Sinner was defeated by one of his rivals, Daniil Medvedev 6-7 (7), 6-4, 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3 in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.
"It's always tricky, because you want to play more points to make him suffer a little bit more -- in a good way -- and at the same time, you know that he at one point is going to say, 'OK, I cannot run anymore so I'm going to go full power.'"
On the other hand, the title holder Carlos Alcaraz, made his way to the semi-finals after defeating Tommy Paul.
