Wijnaldum Edges Closer to Join Barcelona

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has reportedly agreed on joining  Barcelona to be a first transfer under Ronald Koeman leadership

The Dutchman has been at the centre of transfer rumours recently amid reports that the Reds could sell him as his contract nears to expire with the Premier League champions.

Jurgen Klopp has always suggested that he was relaxed about the situation, while Wijnaldum is believed to want to stay at Anfield.

"But with former Holland manager Ronald Koeman taking over as Barcelona boss recently, the speculation over his future has increased even more," DailyMail reported.

Koeman is believed to be a fan of Wijnaldum and rumours have suggested he would like to bring him to the Nou Camp the summer.
