The World Health Organization (WHO) has criticized the vaccination rollout in Europe on Thursday, describing it as "unacceptably slow."
Also, the experts of the international organization warned the Europeans amid the tragic rise in the number of COVID-19 infections and the beginning of the third wave of the Coronavirus, in addition to the spread of more mutated variants of the virus.
Therefore, WHO director for Europe Hans Kluge underscored in a statement: "We must speed up the process by ramping up manufacturing, reducing barriers to administering vaccines, and using every single vial we have in stock, now."
Last week, the European leaders' summit has discussed the issue of the vaccination rollout, and the crisis of suspending the AstraZeneca vaccine in several European countries such as Germany, France, and Norway.
Moreover, the bloc decided to suspend the exports of the COVID-19 vaccine outside the European Union.
