Dr. Naeema Al-kasir, the representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, said on Tuesday that the Coronavirus pandemic is the biggest health challenge facing the world during the modern era, explaining that it demonstrated the necessity of solidarity among all countries , noting that Egypt was one of the first countries that dealt, whether at the internal or regional level, with the pandemic.
During her speech in a discussion on the United Nations Human Development Report in Egypt for the year 2021, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Dr. Al Kasir added that Egyptian officials held many tours to many countries during the period of the pandemic to emphasize solidarity and cooperation, stressing that Egypt made exceptional efforts to combat the pandemic, as it has achieved a strategic balance and optimal use of resources in order to deal with the pandemic
