World Health Organization (WHO) is expecting Dementia disease to triple in 30 years.

Dementia is a brain disease that may include memory loss, difficulties in thinking and problem-solving .

Moreover, it badly affects peoples' behavior, daily lives and causes mood swings.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director General, said “we are doing our best to encounter this disaster”.

He stated, in a recent statement, that the number of patients reached 50 million people world-wide.

"E, B vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), multiple and complex supplements will not prevent the disease," the statement clarified.

On the other hand, practice of sport and sticking to the Mediterranean diet; which is rich in fruits, vegetables and fish, are much effective preventive actions.

It's worth mentioning that the main causes of Dementia are Alzheimer's disease and successive strokes.
