The White House will ease the travel restrictions on foreign nationals entering the US, media sources revealed on Monday.

Anyone fully vaccinated against Covid-19 can fly to America beginning in November.

At the start of the coronavirus pandemic, former President Donald Trump imposed an 18 month ban on foreign visitors from entering the country.

The White House coordinator Jeff Zients announced the end of the travel ban and said the proof of vaccination, as well as proof of a negative test taken in the previous three days, will be required for all foreign visitors.

Airlines will be required to collect contact information from international travellers so that they can be traced if required.

The news will come as a boost to both airports and airlines who have been hit hard by the pandemic.

Airlines are required to collect international traveller contact information to track them, if necessary.

Both airports and airlines who have been severely hit by the pandemic will receive the news.
