The White House has dropped executive orders issued by former US President Donald Trump to ban the popular apps TikTok and WeChat, according to what was reported by the "Associated Press" on Wednesday, quoting unnamed senior officials in the US administration.
The White House directed the US Department of Commerce to conduct what officials describe as "evidence-based" analysis of transactions involving apps manufactured, provided or controlled by China.
