WhatsApp is constantly experimenting with new features to provide its users with a better experience.
The messaging application is testing a new feature called "review" that allows users to preview their voice messages before sending them.
The feature was revealed by WABetaInfo, the features tracker of the platform, revealed in a tweet that the review button feature is currently is under development.
“WhatsApp already had a similar feature to review voice messages, but the way to trigger the feature was very cumbersome, for example switching to a different section before sending the voice message. This new feature will add a new Review button, that you can easily tap to listen to the voice message,” WABetaInfo added in a statement.
The company will be rolling out the feature in a future update for both iOS and Android users.
WhatsApp is also will allow chat history migration between iOS and Android in a future update.
It will also release the possibility to listen to voice messages using different playback speeds in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.9.4.
