What would happen if Egyptians lived on the moon? How would their daily lives differ? Would they be affected by the outer space, or the Egyptians will leave their special mark on the moon?

A Graphic designer named Mahmoud Sorour initiated a project entitled “I want to live in another planet” and designed some photos to imagine the lives of Egyptians on the moon.
This came after the launch of first trip of UAE astronaut Hazzaa al-Mansoori to the International Space Station on 25th September 2019.
The project, which was inspired from Al-Mansoori space trip, aims to visualize the shape of the Moon especially if Egyptians. with their simple nature, lived on it.

Sorour imagined the life of his Egyptians’ compatriots on the moon to be characterized by their known sense of humor, gatherings of friends on streets.
He added the moon will be filled with cigarette kiosks, koshari and liver carts will be found everywhere on the moon.
You would see also some Egyptians will travel by microbus and tuk-tuk, three-wheeled vehicles, to and from the Earth.

Sorour believes that the Egyptian streets are distinguished with simplicity and fellowship, in addition to the harmony among Egyptians in cafes and public gatherings.
Tuk-tuk driver and passenger were sitting next to him staring at an astronaut on an exploratory mission while another passenger surprisingly looks at them.
Sorour said that if he was asked to depict Egyptians’ life on the moon, he would take cafes and popular restaurants to represent the culture of the Egyptian street, as well as the Cairo Tower and Qaitbay Fort to represent Egypt’s tourist attractions.
