Western Allies Remove Limits on Arms Range to Ukraine

The United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the United States have lifted all range restrictions on military supplies provided to Ukraine.

This development marks a significant shift in Western support, allowing Ukrainian forces to target military sites beyond their borders, including within Russian territory.

The decision signals a broader alignment among NATO allies to bolster Ukraine’s defensive capabilities amid ongoing hostilities. 

Until now, Ukraine had been limited in the range of Western-supplied weaponry, which restricted its ability to respond to threats originating from across the border.

The announcement comes as tensions continue to escalate. Russian officials reported a series of Ukrainian strikes on infrastructure, while the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted 148 Ukrainian drones within the last 24 hours across several regions.

This policy change is expected to influence the strategic dynamics of the conflict, potentially intensifying military operations in the weeks ahead.
