Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has described Liverpool star Mohamed Salah as the best attacking player in the world on current form.

The Egyptian forward has scored 10 goals in 10 appearances this season for the second placed Reds, sparking hopes that his goals could fire Jurgen Klopp's side to the Premier League title.

Salah has scored two incredible solo strikes in Liverpool's last two games against Manchester City and Watford respectively, further proving that he is nearing the sensational form of the 2017/18 season in which he scored an incredible 44 goals.

"He's top, top class yes and certainly the best striker at the moment in the world because he scores goal no-one else can score,"  Wenger told beIN SPORTS.

"He’s full of confidence and he’s creative.

"Overall, I believe as well that he is very intelligent because the sign of players that always improve is the intelligence."
