Weather to Improve on Saturday: EMA

Dr. Iman Shaker, undersecretary of the Remote Sensing Center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), predicted Thursday that the unstable weather conditions will continue across Egypt until Friday.

Shaker added in a press statement that the intensity of the rains will decrease in Cairo, which is predicted to be light intensity, during daylight hours on Friday.

She noted that weather conditions will improve on Saturday, in most parts across the country.

It is predicted for the rain to decrease in the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, while the rest of the country will stay rain-free.

Meanwhile, moderate rains are set to prevail in some areas of the northern coasts such as Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, El Salloum, Rashid, Damietta, Port Said, Al-Arish, and Rafah.

Light to moderate rain is also predicted to hit some areas of the northern Lower Egypt including, Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, and Dakahlia.

EMA stressed the need to take all necessary preparations and measures to reduce the effects of rain, explaining that these forecasts are updated daily.

Since Wednesday, Egypt has been experiencing a wave of unstable weather, which is set to prevail until Friday.
