We Are Not in Talks with Weiler - Pyramids

Sports director of the Pyramids Club Hany Saeed denied on Saturday any talks or negotiation between his club and Al Ahly's current head coach Rene Weiler.

Speculations have been raised about the future of the Swiss coach with the Red Devils, but Al Ahly denied any rumours about his departure.

In statements to "Mbc Masr," Saeed said that his team has not held any talks with Weiler or Al Ahly's players; Hamdy Fathy and Ali Maaloul.

"We are only thinking about our technical needs, as we are not holding talks with any players, having a contract, with Al Ahly," he noted.

It is worth mentioning that, Al Ahly have announced that they would take the final decision regarding head coach René Weiler's future on Thursday.

In a statement, the Red Devils said that the decision came after knowing everything from the Swiss coach and in the light of the contract signed between two parties.

Weiler has an option in his contract to leave the Red Devils for free without paying his six-month release clause and the same thing to Al Ahly, if they wants to sack the Swiss coach between October 1 and October 10.

The statement also added that all the speculations raised about the departure of Weiler were wrong.

It also stressed that the board of directors have not discussed the a successor to the Swiss coach, affirming that the final decision will be taken at the aforementioned date.
