Warm weather expected in Egypt on Saturday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicted that the country will witness a rise in the temperature and warm weather, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Warm weather is foreseen to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

It is also predicted that moderate weather to prevail in the Northern Coasts.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that there will be a chance of light rain prevailing in Northern Coasts, at intermittent periods.

It is also foreseen that the country will be witnessing mist on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo. The mist will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.

Extremely cold weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, North and South Upper Egypt, at night.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere will be cold in South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 23C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 18C in Marsa Matruh, 25C in Sohag, 25C in Qena and 26C in Aswan.

In addition, the experts also shared early predictions for the coming days. They revealed in a detailed report that the country will be witnessing mist in the next six days, on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo.

The mist will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.

The experts added that there is a 30% chance of light rain prevailing intermittently in Cairo, Northern Coasts, Lower Egypt, on Friday.

Light rain is also predicted to intermittently fall at a 30% chance in Northwestern Coasts, on Saturday.

There is a 30% chance of light rain to hit Northern Coasts, at intermittent periods on Sunday.

It is foreseen that the rains will make a return on Wednesday. Light rain is predicted to intermittently fall at a 40% chance in Northwestern Coasts.

Furthermore, winds will be active in Cairo, Northern Coasts, Sinai and the south of the country.

The experts added there is a 40% chance of light rain prevailing intermittently in Northern Coasts, on Thursday.
