Hany Abo Rida, the chairman of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), decided on Wednesday to exclude Pharaohs' winger Amr Warda from the Egyptian national team.

Ehab Leheta, manager of the Egyptian National Team confirmed that Warda was excluded from the team’s camp after discussions with administrations of the team.

Laheta said the decision was made to maintain a state of the discipline, commitment, and concentration in the team’s camp.

In the past few hours, 25-year PAOK player came under fire after a model on Instagram accused him of sexual harassment.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt, pooled in Group A alongside Uganda, DR Congo, and Zimbabwe, will play their second game in the AFCON against DR Congo later today at Cairo Stadium (22:00CLT).

The seven-time title holders are set to complete their tournament's matches with a 22-man squad after excluding Warda.
