Wahad Samir Calls for Establishing Database for Women’s in Gold Sector

Dr. Wahad Samir, the Professor at the High Institute of Applied Arts, and the member of the National Council for Women, said that the representation of women in gold sector is increasing, therefore, she called for establishing a database for registering working women in the sector for adding them to the official records.

Samir added in her speech during Egypt’s Jewellers Conference that there is a necessity for providing them with the required material, in addition to several facilities for qualifying them to moderate their micro, and medium enterprises.

Furthermore, Coronavirus encouraged women to depend on social media for marketing their products, especially handmade products.

She pointed out that private corporations should assist working women in the sector, and help them in marketing their products for having a decent life.

Finally, the official praised the National Council of Women efforts in supporting women, and helping them for gaining more rights, especially those linked to the work environment.
