Vodafone Staff Gets into Fight with Customer Inside One of Branches

A violent fight broke out between Vodafone customer service staff and one of the clients in one of the communications giants' branches in New Cairo, Egypt.

A video, which recorded the entire incident, stirred controversy among Vodafone's customers after it was circulated on various social media sites.

The clip documented the customer service staff inside one of Vodafone's branches beating one of the customers, who is likely to be a dentist, while the company's management confirmed that it was investigating the incident immediately and quickly.

The company also confirmed that the quarrel that took place between the two parties resulted in a fistfight by both parties.

In the video, the branch employees appear after the quarrel ended, collecting the scattered money from the ground, while the citizens try to get the customer out, but he refused.

Immediately, the administrative security of the mall intervened in the incident until the policemen came and took them to the station to investigate the incident.

The company confirmed that a report was made of the incident, and the two parties were referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation, but they preferred to reconcile and relinquish the case.

Vodafone said that it has apologized and taken all necessary measures in this regard, and indicated that the company's management does not accept the occurrence of any abuses against its customers under any circumstances and that it is quickly investigating this incident until it takes several decisive measures.

Eyewitnesses said that the reason for the dispute was due to a jump in the queue inside one of Vodafone's branches in Egypt.
