Vivo X50 series revealed from several leaks surfacing from the past few days. The Vivo X50 series will feature the Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with the advantage of a gimbal-like image stabilization system, that actually stabilizes the image acting like a gimble. The launch is also set on June 1.

The new promo video showed the camera quality and image resolutions of the X50 series smartphones in a very brilliant way. The main camera of Vivo X50 Pro features the Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor and in this video it shows the super zoom capability as well as the image stabilization with the gimble mechanism.

According to Leakster Digital Chat Station, which published some of this info suggests that the phone will also use a customized Sony sensor for one of its four cameras.

Vivo X50 Pro

The X50 series will come with 90Hz displays and the X50 Pro’s periscope unit will have a 48MP sensor. The X50 will come with a 2.5D screen while the one on the Pro will offer a more dramatic curved effect. Both the devices will have a punch-hole cutout design. From the front it will look more like the One Plus 8 series.

According to saudi24.news, the Viva X50 and X50 Pro have different rear cameras. Although they both feature a quad camera and an endoscope camera, the first Vivo X50 encloses them vertically under each other, while the other places them uniquely in harmony due to the difference in size.

The Vivo X50 Pro has a large primary sensor, possibly the main camera underneath this large camera, two other cameras can also be seen, followed by a fourth sensor below them that allows to capture enlarged photos.

Other major details of the Vivo X50 phones such as processor model, battery capacity, storage option etc. are currently unknown, and price of smartphones is still not clear.

Noteworthy, the micro gimbal camera was also seen on the Vivo Apex 2020 concept phone that was unveiled in February this year. Vivo had claimed that the micro gimbal camera extends the stabilisation angle by 200%, meaning that this camera system can provide significantly less shaky and blurred photos and videos, compared to the other smartphones.
