The Portuguese Coach Rui Vitoria, the head of the national football team of Egypt, may not summon the Egyptian players who are overseas for the upcoming friendly against South Sudan, media outlets reported on Wednesday.
The Egyptian national football team will face South Sudan for a friendly game on June 18.
The game will be hosted at Cairo International Stadium at 8 pm, and it is part of the national team's preparations for AFCON competitions.
Egypt will face Guinea on June 14 as part of the fifth encounter for AFCON 2024 qualifiers.
Until now, the national team top their group with 9 points, while, Guinea come second.
Previously, Egypt national football team's Coach Rui Vitoria decided to summon eight players from Al Ahly to the upcoming camp of the Egyptian national team, next June.
Vitoria called Al Ahly's Mohamed El Shenawy, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Abdel Moniom, Yasser Ibrahim, Marawan Attia, Hamdy Fathy, Hussein Shahat, and Mahmoud Kahraba.
In the same context, Vitoria decided to call three players from Al Zamalek to the Egyptian team camp and they are Mohamed Sobhy, Hossam Abdel Majid, and Ahmed Sayed Zizo.
