On Monday, huge crowds of people took the streets of the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to welcome the athletes who represented the country in the Olympic Games in Paris, and brought precious medals to their country, including tennis legend Novak Djokovic.

In a historic game between the youngest ever to reach the final, and the oldest ever to reach the final, Serbia's Novak Djokovic defeated Spain's Carlos Alcaraz to win his first ever Olympic, and gold medal. A dream came true for Djokovic.
Djokovic defeated Alcaraz 7-6,7-6 in the final of the men's single Tennis competitions at Paris Games 2024.
Djokovic reached the final after defeating Lorenzo Musetti of Italy in the semifinals Friday.
This is the second time for both players to fight for a grand prize as they collided against each other in the final of Wimbledon which ended with Alcaraz's win.
