Frankfurt secured their tenth victory of the season with a 2-0 win over struggling Borussia Dortmund on Friday, in the 18th Bundesliga round opener.
Marmoush didn't participate in the game as the club was engaged in “negotiations with another club,” according to his social media accounts.

According to German and international media, Omar Marmoush is expected to join Manchester City, the reigning English Premier League champion for the past four seasons, in a deal worth $82 million.

Marmoush will be the fourth Egyptian player to appear with a team of the big English Premier League after Salah who played for Chelsea and Liverpool, Mido who played for Tottenham, and Mohamed El Nenny who played for Arsenal.
