Arsenal star and Egyptian international Mohamed El Neny announced, Friday that he will depart the Gunners lines by the end of this season.
In a video posted on X, El Neny said that he is sending his goodbyes to the Gunners and thanked all the fans, coaching team, and everyone who supported him.
Earlier, transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that El Neny will bid a farewell to the Premier League side, Arsenal, after Sunday's game against Everton.
The 31-year-old Elneny contract with Arsenal concludes at the end of the season this weekend.
Elneny joined Arsenal in January 2016 from FC Basel, having eight years with the Gunners.
He made 161 appearances in all competitions, contributing 6 goals and 10 assists during his tenure.
However, he played only six appearances across all competitions this season.
His most recent appearance for Arsenal was on 24 February, coming on as a substitute for just one minute during the 4-1 victory over Newcastle in the English Premier League.
