Venezuela condemned the attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing it as a terrorist act that threatens regional and international security.
"The Venezuelan government strongly condemns the attack targeting the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin... This act constitutes a terrorist deed that overtly violates international law and directly threatens regional and international security," Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Moreover, Venezuelan authorities expressed their full solidarity with the Russian government, calling for an immediate halt to terrorist attacks that target civilians and jeopardize the balance of the international system.
It is worth mentioning that, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that "on the night of December 28–29, Kyiv launched a terrorist attack using 91 drones on the Russian President’s residence in the Novgorod region," north of Moscow, noting that air defense systems successfully thwarted the attack.
